WELCOME
Our program is a collaboration of businesses and community leaders. Through monthly meetings and coordinated efforts; we offer training, peer review, and coordination of efforts to develop a Green, more sustainable, and more efficient model for area businesses.
We coordinate our program through a Certified Green Consultant in the area, providing a neutral and educational foundation for this project. This is not a networking event, but a meeting designed to promote and spread the sustainable message. We invite those with vital interests in sustainable business to participate in the meeting.
THE CORE CONCEPT
The environmental effort seems to suffer from special interests and niched marketing. The need for a comprehensive project designed to create a "Bottom-Up" solution is crucial to the further implementation of environmental solutions. Our program is carefully planned to offer educational enrichment, to encourage the implementation of Green practices, and to coordinated advancement of the community as a whole.
We believe that every agency, school, and business needs to start an organized program for environmental compliance. That is understood to be tailored program called a Sustainability Plan. Every member will be encouraged and guided to develop a Sustainability Plan for their business and to keep that plan constantly updated. Going Green or installing sustainable practices is an ongoing effort.
